Engagement shoots: A fun and relaxed practice run
One of the best ways to ease those photo worries is with an engagement shoot. It’s a chance for you to get used to being in front of my camera and to see firsthand that there’s absolutely nothing to stress about. There won’t be any stiff, awkward poses. Instead, I’ll guide you into natural, easy moments that feel like you.
By the end of the session, you’ll not only have some beautiful photos, but you’ll also feel totally prepared for the big day. Plus, it’s just a really nice excuse for you to spend some time together and celebrate this exciting chapter of your lives!
Pre-wedding planning: helping you stay stress-free
Weddings are amazing, but let’s be real: planning one can feel a bit overwhelming. That’s where I come in. I’m always on hand to answer any questions, plus about 2-3 weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a relaxed pre-planning call to iron out all the details. Together, we’ll:
- Go over your timeline to make sure everything flows beautifully (and no one feels rushed).
- Chat about the best spots and times for group photos and those romantic couple portraits.
- Make a list of the group shots you really want so nothing gets missed on the day, and decide on the best order so we get through them quickly and easily.
It’s your chance to ask all those little questions and make sure we’re 100% on the same page. By the end of our chat, you’ll feel confident and ready. And if any worries pop up afterward, I’m just an email or call away.
On the day: a calm and reassuring presence
Here’s the thing: your wedding day should be all about celebrating, not stressing. That’s why I work quietly behind the scenes to capture all the magic while keeping things calm and easy. For the most part, I’ll blend into the background so you won’t even notice I’m there. And during the group and couple photos, I’ll gently guide you so you never feel awkward or unsure.
I’ve even been known to pin buttonholes, fix veils, help button-up wedding dresses, and find vases for the bouquets—whatever it takes to make your day as smooth and joyful as possible. My goal is to be a friendly, calming presence so you can soak up every moment while I take care of the rest.
The post-wedding experience: reliving the magic
I know how excited you’ll be to see your photos, so within 72 hours of your wedding, I’ll send you a sneak peek. It’s like a little taste of the magic to keep you going while I work on your full gallery. Speaking of which, your complete set of photos will be ready 6-8 weeks after the big day.
I make it super easy to view, download and share your photos with a beautiful online gallery that you can send to family and friends. There’s also a linked online shop where you can browse and order prints, albums, or other keepsakes—all in one place. And if you ever have questions or need help, I’m always here for you.
