Are you dreaming of a relaxed wedding with a neutral colour palette and a splash luxury? Then these ideas from a styled wedding shoot at The Elephant Hotel in Pangbourne will be right up your street!
The shoot was initiated by Claire from The Luxe Design Company who wanted to highlight the hotel’s best features – quirky interiors, pretty garden, light-filled spaces, mouth-watering food, and it’s laid-back vibe – as well as bring together a team of talented wedding suppliers from across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
With this in mind, the team created an organic, romantic and luxurious look with an abundance of greenery, touches of black and gold, combined with timeless and elegant bridal styles. To this, they added some fun and more unusual elements – two alpacas (which would make your wedding especially memorable if you surprised your guests by walking them up the aisle!) and a tuk tuk photo booth with props to dress up in.
3 tips to help you achieve this wedding style
- Use elements like gold-rimmed charger plates and gold cutlery to add a hint of opulence
- To create a soft and romantic atmosphere as the daylight fades, choose candles and warm fairy lights
- Make your wedding fun and memorable by adding some quirky and/or unexpected elements
If you’re getting married at the cosy and quirky Elephant Hotel in Pangbourne and are looking for a wedding photographer to capture your big day, please get in touch! I’d love to hear from you.
