Woohoo! We made it to the end of 2021, and wow what a rollercoaster of a year it’s been, hey? Between the lockdowns, travel bans, being totally fed up of the same four walls, dodging COVID, I was absolutely delighted to get back to what I love doing – photographing weddings and capturing all the joy, smiles, laughter, and love.
From a back garden DIY wedding in the New Forest, an intimate wedding in a hidden gem of a chapel in London, to a totally washed-out but nevertheless brilliant wedding in Buckinghamshire amongst others, I feel so grateful and lucky to call this my job. It has been wonderful. I have been blown away by my clients’ resourcefulness, courage, and adaptability as they battled with the turmoil of having to postpone and/or make alternative arrangements in order to have their special days. They have been an inspiration.
So while I could share with you a slideshow of this year’s wedding-awesomeness (which, by the way, you can see over on my updated wedding gallery) I thought instead I’d share what I think may be more helpful: a roundup of my most-read wedding blog posts of 2021.
