An engagement shoot is designed entirely with your comfort in mind. With no pressure and no on-lookers, it’s the perfect thing to help you overcome any camera-shy nerves before your big day.
During your shoot we’ll spend a relaxed hour walking, talking and getting ot know each other better while I snap away with my camera. I’ll gently guide you into natural-looking poses, but also invite you to focus on each other. By doing that, you’ll soon forget I even exist, and happily just do your own thing – mess about, make each other laugh, pull silly faces, and sneak a quick kiss!
So by the time your big day comes around, you’ll be totally at ease. In fact, you won’t think about having your picture taken at all, but just about enjoying every moment of marrying your best friend.
And the result?
Lots of beautiful, happy and relaxed photos!
WHAT YOU GET
- 1 hour photoshoot at a location of your choice, within a 10 mile radius of Winchester or Oxford
- Your choice of 10 hi-res and fully-edited photos for you to download
- Your images delivered via a private password-protected online gallery

WE'RE SUPER AWKWARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. WILL THAT BE OK?
Yes! Please know that I do not expect you to be models. My job is to direct you in a way that helps you relax, feel natural, and be your true comfortable selves in front of my lens. You do not need to practice poses, study Pinterest pins or let the nerves take over. It often takes around 10 mins to get into it, but by the end of the session you’ll feel like it’s just been an enjoyable walk in the park, and any camera nerves will soon float away!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE OF OUR WEDDING SHOULD WE BOOK OUR ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?
It’s totally up to you. You can have an engagement shoot as soon as you’re engaged or at any point in the run-up to your wedding. I would advise however that you have it no later than 3-4 months before your wedding, just so I definitely have time to edit your images and for you to see them ahead of your big day.
I usually release dates 60 days ahead of time, but if you’d like to book further ahead than that, please email me to find out my availability.
HOW DO WE BOOK?
Easy! Simply look through my calendar below to find a date that works for you. Once I’ve received your booking request, I’ll pop you over an invoice for £300. Once you’ve paid, you’re all booked in!

WHAT HAPPENS IF RAIN IS FORECAST ON THE DAY OF THE SHOOT?
If the weather looks like it’ll be awful, rescheduling to another day is of course possible. However, as the weather is so unpredictable (and there is no guarantee the new date will be any better!) I recommend making the best of what we have. (I’ve done some really cute sessions in the rain with umbrellas!)
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Block/solid colours ideally without any patterns or logos that distract from your smiling faces are typically best. But if that’s not your style, no worries! The most important thing is to wear something you love, that is comfortable and makes you feel great!
Because there may be a bit of walking, do think about your shoes carefully. And if you’d prefer, feel free to bring an extra pair of shoes with you that you can slip in and out of while we walk so that you’re comfortable. This way, we can walk fast and maximize our shooting time.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET OUR PHOTOS?
Whilst I hate keeping people waiting (and I know how keen you will be to see your engagement photos!) I truly believe that quality is more important than speed, so it can take anything up to 4 weeks for delivery of your photos, especially during the busy summer months. But I will always get them to you as soon as I can.
