East Lothian Wedding Photographer
Real laughter, real emotion, no stiff poses
Wedding photography for couples who want their day captured exactly as it felt, not performed for the camera.

Wedding photography in East Lothian
For couples who’d rather be present than posed
You want your wedding day to feel like your day – the version of it that’s true to you, with space to actually take it all in. A venue that feels beautiful and genuinely yours, and photographs that take you straight back to exactly how it felt, without hours lost standing around waiting for the “perfect” shot.
That’s exactly what I do. I bring eight years of experience across every kind of venue, weather, and timeline to make sure your day runs smoothly and feels like your own, whatever shape it takes.
I grew up in East Lothian, and after eight years photographing weddings across the south of England, I moved back to North Berwick in October 2025. It’s genuinely lovely to be photographing weddings in a place I know and love – this coastline, in particular, has always felt like home.
So wherever your wedding day unfolds, you’re in safe hands.

Meet your photographer
Hi, I’m Lorna
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll often find me walking the dog on the East Lothian coast, chasing sea air, good coffee, and the perfect golden hour.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK WITH ME
A calm, unobtrusive presence on your wedding day
Your photographer is one of the people you’ll spend the most time with on your wedding day, so feeling comfortable and understood matters just as much as loving the photos afterwards.
I work quietly, blending into the background rather than directing the room. Just gentle guidance when it’s useful, and space to actually be yourselves the rest of the time. Most couples tell me that by the end of the day, they’d forgotten I was even there.
Just you, your day, and photographs that feel like you.
Lorna was an absolute dream to work with. On the wedding day, she was completely non-intrusive, blending into the background capturing those quiet moments, the details, as well as capturing every meaningful moment.

BEAUTIFUL VENUES ACROSS EAST LOTHIAN
From grand exclusive-use estates to secluded coastal hideaways
East Lothian has an incredible range of wedding venues — from grand exclusive-use estates and rustic courtyards to coastal retreats with sea views stretching to the horizon. Whether you’re imagining a full weekend celebration at Archerfield House, the rustic-luxe charm of Broxmouth Courtyard, or the secluded, atmospheric grounds of Dunglass Estate, this part of Scotland has the backdrop.
I’ve put together a guide to some of my favourite East Lothian venues – including capacity, pricing, and what to consider when choosing a venue with your photography in mind, so you can easily compare.

MY PORTFOLIO
The story-telling you can expect
I’m currently building my portfolio of weddings photographed right here in East Lothian – and I’d love for yours to be among the first.
What you see across my website reflects exactly the kind of story-telling, light, and connection you can expect on your own day, photographed across a wide range of venues and settings during my eight years working in the south of England.
The place changes; the way I work doesn’t.
I cried as soon as I saw the first shot! 🥹❤️ Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you again. You were beyond amazing!

A few things couples often ask
What's your photography style?
Relaxed, natural, and elegant — timeless rather than trend-led, with soft natural light and true-to-life colours. No stiff poses or long formal line-ups, just your day captured as it actually happens. See how I work →
Do you only photograph weddings in East Lothian?
Not at all. East Lothian is home for me, but I photograph weddings in Edinburgh, across Scotland, and further afield too.
Have you photographed a wedding at my venue before?
Maybe or maybe not yet… and honestly, I love that. A new venue means fresh eyes, fresh angles, and nothing I’m running on autopilot for – it’s when I do my most creative work. I just moved to East Lothian after eight years in the south of England working at every kind of venue and in every kind of weather, so you’re in safe hands either way.
I’m also gifting an extra hour of coverage with my “Just Right” collection to a limited number of couples booking 2027 and 2028 dates. Think of it as a little extra breathing room for golden-hour portraits, a slower morning, or simply wherever the day takes you. See my packages and prices →
What's your pricing and what's included?
Head over to my pricing page for all the details, or just drop me a message and we can chat through what would suit your day best.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 12–18 months ahead, especially for peak season (May–September). That said, I do sometimes have last-minute availability, so it’s always worth getting in touch whatever your timescale. Simply fill out my contact form to check if your date is free →
If you want someone who’s not only super talented, but also genuinely lovely to be around, Lorna is your person!
