Organic, raw, feminine, calm, hand-made, sustainable, seasonal, autumnal, natural – if these words go some way to defining your dream wedding, then you’re gonna love this styled Autumn wedding shoot at Sanctum on the Green!
In October I was delighted to take part in a wedding shoot at Sanctum on the Green organised by the Flourish Workshop, with a set put together by an incredible team of wedding suppliers from across the south of England.
As soon as I found out about this Autumn shoot, I immediately headed to Google to have a look at some images of the hotel and WOW – what a gorgeous venue! Sanctum on the Green is an exclusive boutique hotel set in rural Berkshire. The luxurious hotel has only nine guest rooms, a heated outdoor pool, spa, space for glamping tents, and serves a delicious range of traditional British cuisine, making it a perfect venue for weddings, romantic getaways or a needed weekend escape all year round.
Having followed the work of the Flourish Workshop for a while, I knew this shoot would be exquisitely styled, and I was definitely not disappointed. I loved the soft colour palette of whites, greys, steel blues and dusty pinks. This, combined with the natural textures, materials and dried flowers they used, provided an organic, wild and natural look. Oh, and did I mention the cake?! I loved it’s simplicity mixed with the rough icing edges and delicate flower decorations. With its distressed edges, the stationery too complemented this organic look perfectly! Take a look!
