A Spring Engagement Shoot at RHS Wisley Gardens

If you could choose any location for your engagement photoshoot, where would it be and why?

This is a question I ask all of my wedding clients. Why? Because I believe that having your engagement (or pre-wedding) shoot at one of your favourite places not only makes your photos that bit more special, but because you love it there, chances are that you will feel more relaxed there too. And that is my ultimate goal – to make you feel special and relaxed so that any camera-shy nerves you might have melt away within minutes, and instead you simply enjoy being in one of your favourite places with your favourite person. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

For Charlotte and Chris, their favourite place to go at the weekends is RHS Wisley Gardens, and I can easily see why! Set in the beautiful Surrey countryside, the 240-acre garden boasts a fantastic array of flowers, plants and trees, with many unusual and unique specimens. There’s also a large greenhouse full of amazing exotic plants so even if it had rained during their engagement session (and thankfully it didn’t!) then we would have had somewhere to go and continue with the photo session.

So tell me, where would you LOVE to be photographed?

Like Charlotte and Chris, would it be in some gardens? At a National Trust property perhaps? A Christmas Market? On a beach by the sea? In a forest? I’d love to help you plan your dream engagement shoot, so please get in touch and let’s make it happen! 🙂

P.S. In case you’re on the lookout for a unique wedding reception venue in Surrey, then do look up Wisley Gardens. With their gorgeous landscaped gardens, planted to have colour and contrast all year round, and secret hideaways for those intimate wedding photos, it could be a truly amazing and memorable place to celebrate.
